It's turning out to be a bad start to the year. Reported on Sky News that an aircraft belonging to Iranair has crashed with loss of lives.

For the information of the updaters and others, the Aviation Herald is reporting that the aircraft involved is B727-200, registration EP-IRP c/n 20945.
