Something to look out for if you're in the Moray Firth area.

Starting on 5 July and finishing on16 July, the course will involve around 70 aircraft, flying from the Moray air base. The aircraft involved include Harriers, Typhoons, Tornados, Hawks, Pumas, Chinooks, Sentries, FRA Falcons, an E3, a VC10, a C17 and a Dornier. Tornado GR4s will also be flying from RAF Lossiemouth as part of the exercise.

Hello

Yes and I think they will be up our way as well going by what I read in the Orcadian on Thursday. It is always  nice when one of these take place so we get some different military aircraft coming past instead of just the standard tornados. Last November we had a nice low flypast of a vc10.

hello

The exercise is now over and it was quite a disappointment - only a few poor photos of a tornado at around 500' and 1 nm away at 6.30bst on an overcast day :-(.
