3d problems help

hi lads can anyone help me when i go into the 3d all im geting is pins when i click on a airgraft it comes up ok but whats around it stay pins and the screen freezes alot am i doing something wrong in the settings or wat today i put ex ram and a new grapics card still no change i would really aprecc it if someone can get me through this thanks lads
