Cost of Network
« on: January 31, 2010, 08:08:40 PM »
Hi,
Please excuse me if this topic has been discussed. I am waiting for the 2010 3 D version to hit the stores, rather than buy one now and download upgrade. I' m aware that after 1 year access to the Network is by payment, i understand that this access is no longer subject to a 5 minute delay, but on the order page of the website it gives 2 options 1 being no delay option Euro 59.95 for 6 mths , the other with 5min delay being same price but for 12 mths. Which one is now the standard charge?

Cheers
Gregg

The price is more for the network without delay. They don't cost the same.

Ta for quick reply, i must have read it wrong as i understood that the time delay had been taken away since a new competitor was on the scene and that there was no option, but obviously there is an option for a 5 min delay (also due to security concerns)  or no delay

No, the difference is now purely a commercial one - you can hardly have a 5 minute delay for security reasons while simultaneously offering a live version to the same market.
