Hi All, further to my post regarding ANRB giving an error message on shutdown;

On Saturday 28th Andre Brandao of AirNav emailed me a debugger to run. Unfortunately ANRB behaved itself when the debugger was running but continued to give an error message on shutdown when the debugger was off.

I informed Andre of this on Sunday and this morning, at 01:24 he sent me a new .exe file which I installed. I'm delighted to report that it has solved the problem.

I have been critical of AirNav in the past when I thought they deserved it, but I must give them great credit for solving this problem in such a short time.

Well done Andre and all the development team.

Hi Viking9
I have just read your post regarding the shutdown error. I have a shutdown error since dowloading the latest versio. I am running Vista ultimate.

It is not a great problem to me, just a little bit of a pain. The fixes far outway the shutdown problem.

Take a look at the screen grabs. Is this what you had?

Great to hear you got sent a fix Viking9. I also sent AirnAv a debug file showing the fault but I have not been sent a fix for the problem.

I emailed Airnav since the original fix that went into 3.12 stopped working (it worked for a day or two) and Andre sent me an updated exe (probably the same as Tom was sent) which fixes it for me again.

You could PM me....

I would have thought that it would have been more sensible for the updated exe from Andre to be put out on general release instead of piecemeal as I am sure several people (including myself) are affected by this problem.
