New Discussion Boards
« on: December 05, 2007, 02:40:24 AM »
We have created 2 new discussion boards on AirNav Systems Forum.

- "Aviation": for general aviation discussions;
- "ShipTrax": for our new software, AirNav ShipTrax;

Feel free to start posting messages there.
Soon we will release the new AirNav ShipTrax web page prior to release the new software.

Any chance of having a section for other AirNav products?

The reason I ask is AirNav Acars decoder really needs a few tweaks. A version 2.2 would be greatly appreciated. :-)

I agree!  AirNav ACARS Decoder 2 and AirNav Suite 4.

We plan to release RadarBox V1.4, then ShipTrax a few weeks later. After that the development team will be 100% dedicated to the new AirNav Live Flight Tracker (which is AirNav Systems flagship product with now over 20 thousand users) and simultaneously on the new ACARS Decoder.

So keep the suggestion coming as will save and review all of them.

AirNav Systems software is developed for the users so the more your inputs, the better the results we will have.

Ok then....the very first thing I would like added to AN Acars decoder is Error
checking and the ability to not show/log messages with errors like AcarsD.

Something is flaky with the aircraft picture downloads from Airliners.net. I never
see any turbo-prop aircraft yet when I go onto Airliners.net there can be
thousands of pictures of a particular aircraft. Dash-8's never show on AN Acars
decoder 2.1.

This actually holds true for AcarsD when I chose Airliners.net as an icon server.
As soon as I chose one of the other icon servers with AcarsD all the Dash-8's
show up.

I also note while running AcarsD and AN Acars decoder 2.1 side by side AcarsD seems to
decode more messages.
