Beta V3.01 not responding
« on: September 07, 2009, 01:27:30 PM »
In the past few weeks I've experienced problems with V3.01 not responding. I've tried reinstalling etc to no avail. I run Planeplotter V5.4.4.2 with multilateration and I'm beginning to suspect that this is somehow causing the problem. If I leave both programs running overnight everything is fine but ANRB cashes after I've been using multilteration for a while.

Anyone else had this problem?

Hi Tom,

I don't use PP but I do have problems if I have both ANRB & ANAD running at the same time?

Strange as they are both from the same stable...

Does multilteration require a lot of resources? (CPU etc..)

Not according to Task Manager. With PP mlat and Radarbox running the average CPU usage is 21% peaking at 57% every so often for a second or two. Memory usage is never more than 1GB.

PC is a dual core with 2GB so I can't imagine it's performance related. The problem seems to have started with the latest versions of PP and I supect it's a stack problem. I sent details of the error analysis to you a few days ago.

I'm going to roll back a few versions of PP and see if it cures it.
