For info
« on: August 18, 2009, 08:37:47 PM »
Can anybody confirm that the plug on the end of the USB lead into the RB is a B plug or is it a mini B?
I have resolved my RFI problem by using a screened USB lead. The RB also does not fall over when I am TXing on my radio.

Airnav - the software is now crashing after about half an hour. The Myflights list seems to get larger and larger and the list refuses to scroll. It made over 200 today. It is as if flights are not timing out on the Myflights list. If I close down then re-boot the list goes back to normal. Using 3.01B.
I maybe buying a new computer as some of my problems are I think due to speed issues as mu cpu runs at 100% at times. Is RB compatible with Windows 7?

Hi Jeremey,

We remember you saying you had a pentium 4 machine which is probally 5 years old so I would expect under a traffic and network downloading it would have trouble with all the settings on.

Windows 7 is not out yet, and it does require signed drivers which should be ready soon.(There are other ways to install unsigned drivers)

My IT support at work have offered me Windows 7 as an option. I think it was launched a couple of weeks ago.
OK on the machine. Sounds like a good excuse to upgrade!!
What is the plug for the back of the RB please? the other end to the USB?
J.
