Problem connecting to the Network
« on: July 29, 2009, 03:46:30 PM »
Hi everyone,

I have only recently joined the group, I am having problems connecting to the Network with my AirNav receiver. I am connected to the internet and have logged on to the Air Nav System with my sign on and password ok but the system map does not show any aircraft and the Network box is red and says Not connected. My USB cable is connected and I am receiving aircraft on My Flights ok.
Can anyone suggest what the problem my be. It worked perfectly yesterday.

Jeff

The network is online Jeff and was only off yesterday for a few minutes.

Check you have the get network flights button ticked and you don't have any firewall blocking RadarBox connecting to the network.

Thank you for prompt reply, I do have the network button ticked and do not have a firewall blocking the connection. The Hardware Connected box is green. The Network box is still red and says Not connected.

Untick the network box and retick it. You should get some message on the status text at the bottom center of the screen. What does it say?

I've un-ticked the Process Hardware Flights box and re-ticked it but do not see any messages on the bottom of the screen.

I've just downloaded AirNav 2009 (did not know about it until I read the forum messages) and now I am connected to the network again.

Thank you to AirNav support for their help.
