Help with downloading Ver3.0/3.01
« on: July 28, 2009, 07:31:40 PM »
Hi All,

I'm sure I'm not alone in wanting help with this. Having read some of the posts.

Please could Air Nav Support or any kind soul out there post a step by step guide to dowloading the new and any  future versions of this great product.

I am unsure whether I would lose all the changes I have made to Database Explorer since Oct 2008.

Do I Run or Save,  where do i save it to, etc , etc.

I currently using Ver 2.0.

I'm sorry for my ignorance but as you can tell I'm not great with computers !!!!

Many thanks in advance

Cheers

Phil

Allocator,

I'm a Vista user, from what I can remember you are a Windows XP man !.

Perhaps I should wait for the full varsion as Support suggest.

There are people here on the forum using the Beta software with Vista.  As it is Beta (experimental) software, you can expect there to be some unexpected issues with it.

On the other hand, you should be able to install V3.01 in a separate directory to your existing directory, but it depends how serious you are about your database and logs etc.  Once you start using more than one version of the software, it all gets a bit more complicated.
