Paul - I think that warning message is OK - just uncheck the "Always ask before opening this file" box!

I'm not sure that AirNav can control this - perhaps it will change when they get the signed drivers!

Rod

Roger that Rod, I just didn't want the exe being released if everyone is going to get this warning.  Too easy to fix but it would certainly stir up some folks out there....

Is anyone else experiencing delays connecting to the network with this exe or is it just me?  It seems to hang a lot longer then normal.  Anyone?

I was having issues about 20 mins ago with network timeouts but it now appears okay.

I have been away for a couple of days at RIAT, I notice a major drop in network flights from around 1000-1200 to 600-700 is this because NA flights are no longer included?

Kevin - that's what I assumed, mind you, the number seems to be down on what it was before we were smitten with the NA flights.

I seem to be suffering from network delay and occasional random freeze-ups for 10 seconds or longer - once or twice my network grid has blanked out entirely, but recovered again by itself. I put it down to having a very slow broadband connection (nominal 840kbs, but often a lot slower).

Hi Rod

A have a 10MB connection so it is not access issues but the network count is nearly half of what it used to be.

I am seeing the network icon change from green to yellow occaisionally.

I'm on about 700 network flights (but only 26 local flghts with ADS-B).

Interestingly, Tools...Network statistics shows around 1300 flights for this time of day, but I've never really understood that graph :^)

I hope this is only a temporary blip, if the new Beta means a drop in flights that will go down like a lead ballon. :-(

The network has been streamlined. There were lots of complains that aircraft were not timing out on the network and instead hanging around the approaches to airports.

We worked out a way to remove them by using NA in the network but nobody liked that idea either. So now there not shown when they timeout. We can't win really?

The graph takes a larger timeout value.

I think that the number is fairly academic - it all the Network traffic is good traffic rather than being boosted by those NA tracks, then all is well.  The worldwide coverage looks reasonable for this time of day.

I accept the explanation and you can win because it was a honest reply.

I'm still wrangling with missing routes: How come MyLog isn't showing this route, when it's plainly up to date in the Routes table?

And how come the MsgCount is 1, when the start and end times aren't identical?

Also, why is the MsgCount column green?

The problem with all of the available details not showing up in the email Alert is still there.

Just got a single Alert from my Aircraft alert set for A38*

The pop-up alert box shows;
Registration VH-OQA
Aircraft A380
Altitude 40000

The email simply says;
Alert Time: 2009/07/22 05:04:49
Received Aircraft: A380

Email Alerts on previous versions used to give full details of Total flight information under the type of Alert, eg;

GlynH, I agree the alerts problem is NOT fixed. I had an aircraft alert on aircraft with information available for the Registration, aircraft and altitude. The pop up box displayed the alert properly but the email was the same as your example, only the Aircraft field had information.

Similar results with alerts set on other fields, the pop up displays everything known about an aircraft but the emails are sent with only the alerted field displaying any information.
