GP 1090 Antenna

Does anybody knows the performance of GP 1090 Antenna that is indicated in Wimo website store?

excellent perormance here, and very happy with the GP 1090 since about one year. Of course, its location has the most important influence, as the antenna cannot "see" through" obstacles, and "line of sight" rules apply for wave propagation at those frequencies it is about. So keep it up "as high as possible", use a "very low loss" feeder coaxial cable with the proper connectors carefully attached  to its ends. But also keep in mind, that in case you exceed cable lenghts of about  10 meters, preamlification (by means of a "masthead amplifier" [Wimo]) is reqired to compensate for cable losses.

The original RB antenna is one ¼ and one 5/8 wave length. That's mean has a gain of 4db. The GP 1090 has 5db plus or minus 0.5db. I think is worthless the deferent's between those two antennas except the better fitting support on any mast or any place that is having the GP 1090. Also have an easiest coaxial cable fitting for any cable extension or preamplifier using if needed.
flightchecker have right about location. It's the most important for a good reception. The coaxial cables and db losses are another long story. With a few words the best cables (like ECOFLEX 15) for these frequencies with a length about 30meters have a loss of 3 db.
