I've had my RB on since 0600UTC and I've had Network flights the whole time - 1402 showing right now, is that a record :-)

abrad41

Could be

I am showing 1320

abrad41

I am catching you

1401 - go on tell me you have more now

1469 :-)

I'd do a screen shot, but the count is hopping up and down - I can't be getting any more contacts on the Network that everybody else as we must all be seeing the same data.

AirNav Support

Yes same data is downloaded, but then depending on what your seeing Live and your timeout settings the network flights will be lower as they removed.

Thanks for that Support, that makes sense.

Using 30 and 60 seconds for MyFlights and 90 and 180 for Network.

I saw the network get to 1545 earlier today when I turned off my hardware flights for a minute or so.  I think this is the first time it has ever pushed through 1500.

According to AirNav's stats on the user locations map, it got to 1804 in the last 24 hours.

This is not a complain but a constructive observation. Are there any future plans to filter network by continent or country? For example a Europe picture with the ability to filter others out to prevent overload. Anyone any thoughts on the subject?

AirNav Development

For now we don't have plans to develop such kind of filtering feature. All the flights will always have to be downloaded from the server and filtering has to be done on the client side.
