ANRB.elf File What does it do
« on: February 01, 2009, 02:20:43 PM »
Hi all,

With the problems I've had with installing on vista I was checking what was in the ANRB2009 folder on my old xp machine and comparing them against what is on vista.

I can not find ANRB.elf on vista. Can someone advise as to how this may affect my setup?

Don't worry about the elf file, its a log file for us to see whats happening. Its not important.

What issues are you having with the Vista install? Have you tried installing the software to the C drive and not in a virtual folders?

Hi,

I've reinstalled anrb in c:\ after reading the post on vista. There were still files in the virtual store after the uninstall so I deleted them. All seems OK apart from GAS connection (See my previous post).

I've found ANRB.elf its in
C:\users\XXX\Eurekalog\ whatever that is, and also C:\users\XXX\Eurekalog\ANRB so it is duplicated.

Cheers John

I'm a technophobe, but I use Vista and had no issues loading RB at all!  I looked at Tarbats and Allocators advice and it was pretty simple after that.
