Aerial positioning
« on: August 03, 2018, 10:07:59 AM »
I am using a micro RadarBox, and thanks to help from some forum members have overcome some issues with the map. Now I would like to position my aerial further away from me and outside my conservatory. I have read that extending the aerial lead has a detrimental affect on the signals received, which is understandable, but to avoid increasing the cable length between the aerial and micro RadarBox, I wonder whether anyone has used an extension to the usb, and to what affect?

Really want to see the benefits before deciding on something more permanent.

Cheers

Kevin

Unlike a long antenna lead, a USB extension does not have a detrimental effect in any way
