location trouble

hi.rb delivered to work address,software installed ok.but no internet connection,so regrettably typed in london as my home location,just to see if rb worked.but now i am home i cannot change it as location fixing info box does not appear,despite reinstalling software.postcode ox394jt,centre of chinnor s. oxon.help please thx!otherwise may have to move to east london.

On the menu bar - File - Preferences.  Then select the Home Station Data tab.

Put the following co-ordinates in the File > Preference > Home Station Data Lat and Lon boxes:

Lat: 51.69878

Lon: -0.91722

thx allocator,had already typed in lat 51.6833 long -0.9000,will change to those you gave me.

It's based on your postcode, so your position is just as likely to be correct :-)
