Low Flying Tornado's

Hey guys I get lots of military stuff flying low over my location doing night manoeuvres including C130 & Tornado's at around 2K feet.
My RB picks up the C130's flying low at about 1800Ft with minimal information, usually just A/C type, height but never shows the Tornado's at all! Is this the norm?
I have show all selected. I'm obviously not referring here to the radar screen.
Also what does Tie-up extracted from Country Sequence mean which appears in My Log A/C name.

it's normal, because military flights and some others dont send position data to ours RB.

Unfortunately most Tornado GR4s do not have ModeS fitted.  I've only ever picked up two of them (ZA404, ZA560), and that's living 2 miles from the Tain bombing range!!!   Tornado F3s (ZE, ZG, ZH) are a lot more common - I've logged 64 of them, but they generally fly high level.  It's my biggest dissapointment with RAF ModeS fitment policy!!

I think "Tie-up extracted from Country Sequence" is what gets put into GAS as a temporary "placeholder" until someone visually identifies an aircraft.

So, you'll see high level Tornado in the list - for example, see http://www.airnavsystems.com/forum/index.php?topic=1689.0

Thanks for the info guys. Tarbat I've just reviewed my log & there are a few high level tornado's within so thanks for that.
