Norton Internet Security Software
« on: January 03, 2009, 07:37:32 PM »
Is anyone using their RB with Norton Internet Security also installed on their PC. If so, is their anyway of stopping it continually scanning the RB software as it slows down trying to do anything and is now beginning to get on my nerves. I tried going into the main menu in Norton and then settings and then into the scan exclusions menu where I entered C:\Program Files\AirNav Systems\AirNav RadarBox 2009 but it did not make any difference.
I am using the Vista operating system with Norton Internet Security 2008 installed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Try doing the whole AirNav Systems folder and make sure you click apply.

If you're running Vista, then you need to exclude the Virtual Store as well.  Or even better, don't install Radarbox in the default folder (Program Files).  Better to install somewhere like C:\Airnav Systems......... to avoid all the Virtual Store complications.

Thanks guys.  Tarbat, is it as simple as  doing an uninstall and reinstall under C:\AirNav Systems\AirNav Radarbox 2009. Not being very computer literate I don't want to mess anything up. Presumably the wizard comes on and asks me where I want to install the program.
