Hi,
As part of my switch over from SBS I have to make a similar sort of choice.
I currently have an external aerial which has a lead down to it terminating in a (frankly) massive N type connector.
Up until now this was patched directly into the old SBS with a 10cms Ntype to BNC lead, and then I had a 5 mtr or so USB cable running down into the room below and into the PC.
Now, what I was thinking of with the RB rig was getting somebody to make me up a 5 mtr co-ax lead with an SMA at one end and an N type at the other, so that I could keep the RB in my office (avoids having to climb into the loft every time I want to travel with the unit).
However, would I be better off getting hold of a small N type to SMA patch, then running a long USB mini to USB cable between a loft mounted RB and the PC?
Cheers
