Replacement Aerial Cable
« on: October 05, 2008, 10:43:33 AM »

HI All,

For some reason the cable connecting the aerial to my box has snapped off, right by the connection to the box itself.

Anybody got an idea where I can get another one from please?

Thanks

Maplin Electronics.

Unfortunately having not had much time, today is the first chance I've had to look into this.

However, even more unfortunately I'm a bit of an idiot and don't really understand which aerial to get from Maplin, can anybody point me in the right direction please?

Thanks!

Hi pwfu.biz,
Re-reading your original post, I assume you mean the plug at the RB end of the co-ax has broken off - in which case you need
http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=26627
but it may be easier to find a satellite dish installer locally, take the aerial lead to them and get a plug fitted, if you're not into DIY electronics/ham/SW radio type fettling.    Hope this helps.
