Mode S Codes
« on: August 28, 2008, 01:00:12 PM »
I am picking up odd military aircraft on the list. All that is showing is the mode S code. Is there somewhere I can look to tie up the codes to an aircraft?

That was quick! Thanks.

Have tried two codes, one was on record but the other was not.

Thanks TARBAT

does anyone share info on this site?
http://www.live-military-mode-s.eu/

how easy is it to use and what do you get out of it? does it find all military codes? Is it easy to set up and is it best used online or off?

Looks interesting. any advice welcome.

I use it and like it very much.  It was a little challenging to get started, but Albert, who wrote the software, was a huge help.  I doesn't find all codes.  Due to being military, we have to tie up stuff ourselves, but lots of codes are filled in.
The software is totally seamless - it runs in the background and when you share, Albert will give you a password to view the webpages that show static logs and you can look at logs all over the world that are in almost real-time with known codes filled in.  It's definitely worthwhile, IMO.
