Hello All :-)
« on: September 05, 2019, 12:02:45 PM »
Hello everyone,
Another newbie here as of yesterday and still getting to grips with this. I am running the AirNav software on a Brix NUC type computer and it seems to keep freezing which is a pain. I am also finding there is a big white section below the map which is wasted space that I somehow managed to get rid of yesterday but since restarting my computer it's back and can't find a way to get rid of it. I'm not sure if there should be some useful information there but mine is just white.

Hi Chris,

Welcome

Turn off the network flights.  Downloading these every 20 seconds is computer intensive.  Network tab bottom left, untick Get Flights from Radarbox Network.  You will then only get the flights you are picking up.

No idea what you mean about a big white section below the map, can you post a screen shot of it.

Alan

Hi Runway 31,

Thank you for letting me know how to switch off the network flights I have just done that but didn't seem to help so far but will test that for 24 hours.
(edit:- I take that back about it not doing anything as it is now much better thank you)

This picture isn't mine but I found it on here of someone else's which has the same thing. Below the main map there is a big white section below it for some reason?

Chris

Try Map/Vertical Tracking View, untick it

Always close down the software through File/Exit.  Don't use the red cross to close down or all changes made in the set up will be lost
