« Last post by hungerford1 on November 02, 2025, 04:31:11 PM »
Hi all, Can anyone tell me the difference between Daventry south s27 129.200 and s32 134.391 and also daventry north s28 127.100 and s34 127.875. s27/32 appear to cover the same area and s28/34 the same area too.

AirNav Radar Discussion / Re: connect XRange2 to RB software

You cannot use the xrange without being connected to the internet so it is of no use outside an an airport.  As stated it is not standalone

To clarify Sir, there has never been adverts showing the X-Range with the RadarBox software ever. It has always been sold as standalone device, hence we do not ship the X-Range with software. As stated above by others, the X-Range is doing as it is by receiving aircraft data as s stand alone device. The FlightStick however is different and that you can connect to your RadarBox software any other compatible software (hence its not standalone), we don't even advertise the RadarBox software for this either as it is legacy but that can still be used.

noticed that when i select "ADSB only" the list goes white, so this useless piece of junk is simply not capable of receiving ADSB !
when i look on the RB app and select my station only a dozen of flights appear on screen or some 30 seconds, then just disappear and the map is empty.
disconnected this useless piece of junk now and will use my old RB receiver for as long i will be able to use it, once this one dies on me it is by by RB

contacted support and got a reply back ; they no longer support this legacy software and i have to use the app/website.
thing is, i want to use my own pictures and DB as i mainly use my RB when i am spotting planes somewhere around a airfield, if i can not use my XRange with the RB software, i can throw it the recycle bin.
VERY disappointed as the info on the product suggests you can use it with the software, i just lost a lot of money on a thing that does not what it promises.
thinking of trowing my RB gear away and just use Flightradar24 from now on, much better then the RB app
