Post by: Spaice on May 30, 2008, 03:24:35 PM
Has the network gone down, bacause I no longer have any activity from the network, there seems to be no problem with my internet connection.

It seems to be back up again now, not sure what happened there then.

I have not seen any network activity since early yesterday (04 June 2008).  I am in the U.S.

It's been out for quite some time now.

Still, at least the forum's still working :-)

Should AirNav invest in a parallel network server? Or have they already got one?

No Network coverage here either, Network location map shows none at all, hope they get this sorted out and more reliable before I have to pay a subscription for it :-0

The network is working at the moment. Some changes going on which could cause a few outages.

Aplogies for any trouble caused.

Has anybody contacted [email protected] to see what the problem is?

Support don't always monitor the forum, so this isn't the best was to report a Network problem.  If it goes down when I'm running RadarBox, I always drop them an email and it usually comes back almost straight away.

The Network was working fine with me yesterday evening (5 Jun) but I haven't got my RadarBox connected to this laptop at the moment.

"The network is working at the moment. Some changes going on which could cause a few outages."  This is precisely the point I made about network availabilty on another thread.  If you are making changes, why can't you let us know in advance?  Then we can be prepared IF the network is lost during this process, without being unduly concerned.

The changes were not supposed to cause any outages. As we mentioned in that other thread you would get bored if we mentioned every minor change.

It is working here and what do you mean MyFlights is not working. Network flights are not show in MyFlights, they are shown under the network tab.

I don't know if this is related to the recent network outages, but the Network Locations Map is showing hardly any pins at the moment, even though we are getting returns from all the usual places...

Just thought you ought to know, Support :-)

To clarify, I have 761 listed in Network and 0 in My Flights. Although my box is only a month old this is a regular problem. The aerial connection plays up but today all the lights on the front of the box are twinkling away so I don't think this is the problem. Any ideas ?

Just to advise we are taking a look at the server so please be aware it may be down over the next few hours.

EDIT:

Server is now fine, DorsetGooner please contact support through email or the ticket system and we will try and work out whats going on.

We are checking this problem now. We have several debugging processes running on the main server to check what is the cause. Network is running Ok now and we are waiting for it to come down to finally make a conclusion and correct the problem so it does not happen again in the future.
