Wheeler,

Just to clarify, are you using MyLog | Tools | Export to CSV, or are you using MyLog | Reporter | Testerday's Entries | Generate?

Can you post a bit of your exported file to the forum here - just copy and past into the post.

The export to CSV only works with MyLog and not Reporter.  What you have posted is the report generated using Reporter - which only give options of Today and Yesterday, not the MyLog listing.

So:

- You can only generate a "Report" for Today and Yesterday.  Don't forget to click "Generate" after selecting Today or Yesterday.

- The generated report can be saved to file as a txt file and opened with Notepad

- You can only export MyLog to a csv file, although you can choose many more periods other than Today and Yesterday.  You can also use the filers to see particular aircraft

- The MyLog CSV file can be opened using Excel using File | Open

I hope that this makes things a little clearer :-)

P.S. See pages 27-29 in the RadarBox PDF Manual.

No problem,

Reporter is a "quick and dirty" way of generating a report of all the traffic you picked up today or yesterday.  This can easily be emailed either manually or automatically using the buttons on the reporter window.

MyLog is much cleverer, as you can see traffic for any period of time, and you can use filters to see only the traffic you are interested in.

Try putting the following in the MyLog Filters

ModeS = 43C*

Then click Filter - you will see all the British Military aircraft you have detected.  Use the filters on the next line down to show All Time, Yesterday, Last Week etc

You can't print from this filtered list, but when you use Tools | Export to CSV, the filtered file will export and then you will get a pop-up which offers to open the CSV file - if you click Yes and you have Excel installed, then Excel opens and displays the file.

Now you can sort or print in Excel.  You can do all sorts of other clever stuff in Excel too - so if you exported all your contacts rather than just the 43C* aircraft, then you can filter and sort in Excel.

Just have a play, you can't break anything :-)
