Hi, Alan,
I use my email server (Gmail) to send the alerts. In my email account, it has no activity when my ANRB sent a alert. In normal situation, it should have the activity of SMTP access type.
It seems Gmail SMTP server goes down.

Every possibility Yang, try changing to the Airnav server to try it and if OK you can change it back when gmail is back up.

After chaning to AirNav systems email server, I still do not receive any alert email.
what happened with ANRB software?
-
I am using V5.00.72 and as you can see from previous posts the emails are being delivered OK so there is nothing wrong with the software or server that I can see.
Anyone else having similar problems?

I am also using v5.00.072 of ANRB, windows 7 OS.
I have sent a email to ANRB support for this problem.
-
Was going to suggest that Yang but no one else appears to be reporting the issue. Also I am having no issues with gmail either.

Every few month gmail and all tested other mail providers using port 465, 587 are blocked by my isp. Only E-Mails sent by ANRB.exe are affected. Mail sent by Thunderbird, Outlook and Co, which are all using these ports and same smtp server as in ANRB, are still coming through.
ANRB SW tries to establish link to mail provider but no data transfer comes through. Finally the link is terminated due to a timeout error. Therfore unfortunately AirNav Systems won't be able to help with this problem as the problem seems to be caused by the local ISP. Usually the problem has solved itself within a couple of days.

Ingo, many thanks for your information.
I think my situtation is what you said.
after many tests, I can use AirNav systems mail server to send alert now. It temporarily solve my problem. I will test it again tonight by using my mail.
