Title: Problem with/Windows 10
Post by: mdobuk21 on October 12, 2015, 04:19:26 PM
Hi

I updated to windows 10 a few weeks ago without any problem whatsoever. Howeveer over the past few days my software has failed to load and if it has loaded I get the interface showing without any aircraft. The box in the bottom left hand corner says hardware: checking. I have a green power light on my box but no flashing blue lights. I did take out by mistake the usb connection from the back of my PC by mistake but when I check my devices it still shows radarbox. I am very confused!! Can anyone help or advise?

Cheers for any help

Mark

My only suggestion is to try re-installing the software.

Mark,

If you have 2 or more USB slots on your PC just make sure that you have put your USB lead back into the same USB connection it was originally in.

Hi Ian, i think this may be the problem as I mistakenly removed the connection and probably connected to another port, do i need to re-install the box and software?

Thanks

Mark,

I wouldn't think so. Try it without reinstalling. I only suggested this because I seem to remember doing the same thing at one point and was advised that the same USB port has to be used. Have to admit not sure why but it seemed to do the trick.

Scrap the previous message I have come home this afternoon to find the software loads but receiving the hardware checking status in the corner and no flights receiving. This is becoming very frustrating and have no more ideas on what to do next. I have emailed support so awaiting a reply.

Yeah I contacted support but I feel they were not much use! I have asked a mate of mine to sort it out, I am still offline!
