Title: Aircraft in Database
Post by: dunc8543 on June 06, 2015, 09:12:33 AM
Hi,

After a computer meltdown I have been forced to download and install Radarbox on a different PC.

My question is after installation the database is only showing 80,193 aircraft yet on the previous installation I am sure that it showed 250,000.

What is the correct figure I should be looking for please.

Thanks Dunc

Airframe count is  220k+ airframes.

Have you installed in the program files folder? If yes you should uninstall the software. Manually delete all traces and then install direct to the root folder like C:\AirNav

You will probably have two versions of the Airnav software on the computer.  I would imagine you loaded in off the original disk and then updated to V5.  This being the case the update will have gone to the wrong instance of the software.

The best suggestion is to do what Ingo has stated and delete all traces of both versions and the load V5 straight into somewhere like C:\Airnav
