Hi, just wondered if anyone can help?
Been looking through the manual and help and have noticed on the screenshots there are lines/ shapes on the map of the UK. Have these anything to do with outlines as on mine it just shows the black throughout the country with no lines/shapes? When I zoom in close to the airports the outlines of the airports are there. I have tried different things in the preferences but to no avail.
Thanks in advance,
Trevor

Trevor,
Outlines are only for the airports themselves. I presume you are meaning Map/Aviation Signs/ATC Boundaries etc. have a fiddle about there to see if that is what you want. I would imagine these may be out of date now.

Thanks Alan, not sure about the boundaries/, it may well be but to give you a better idea the picture in section 16 of the manual will give you a better idea what I mean, excluding the polar diagram. It's the other shapes on the map. Like you say they may be out of date. Appreciate your time, just wondering why the shapes are not on my map.
Thanks again,
Trevor

Silly question Trevor, where's the manual?

Amazing what you can find if you look Trevor, got it now. I don't know where the airport zones overlay comes from, sorry.
I expect that Rod or someone who has been here from the beginning may be able to assist in directing you to them but I expect they will be available from other websites.

I went through the *.dat files and would say that the L005.dat is containing the ATC boundary's as bremen, frankfurt, berlin, düsseldorf, münchen is named in this file.
The file is not user editable as it containing machine code aside with the clear text. So don't edit it, if you open it!

Afternoon Alan and a guid new year to ye,
Unless you’ve done a moonlighter, it must have been one hell of a Hogmanay party you went to last night to finish up about 270 miles away in Shropshire thinking you’re at home!!
Where the hell did you take a wrong turning??
Happy New Year to all.
