noticed today my alerts are not always triggering.
An example is that I have set an alert for B788 and have noticed two B788s into LHR today that didn't trigger alerts. both pop and email alerts are set and neither recorded the B788. There maybe more instances but I haven't searched further. Anecdotally I can recall other occasions when aircraft type alerts haven't been triggered. I also alert on hex and reg but haven't noticed any toward here but that not to say it hasn't happened. ( eg I can recall a C130 went past 10th May with no alert trigger)
Maybe something worth checking?

Hi Graham,
What have you put in for the B787. I have one from Norwegian Air Shuttle in LEAL on a Saturday and set up an alert for it's first summer arrival last Saturday and the alert worked ok.
I just put into the 'Aircraft' box B78* and made sure the box was ticked.

Hi Graham,
As Ian states we don't get too many 787's over this way to try local flights but I have tried an alert on network flights for B788 aircraft type and have received 5 so far so the alerts appear to be working OK.

Hi
Just had a Voyager fly by and was picked by my box. I have alert 43c* but did not send an alert. It works ok most of the time but not always.

The network was down for a short time and this would be the probable cause in this occasion

only used B788 as an example happens with other types. Will see if there are future occurrences whilst monitoring

Suggest you contact support for guidance Graham. Other than ensuring the correct boxes ticked and ensuring you are connected to the internet I cant help.
I prefer alerting on the hex code as it is this the box picks up.
