Title: M-NSJS with RAF flag ???
Post by: MIKE.UTD on February 16, 2013, 11:23:13 AM
Hi,
I have just had M-NSJS appear o/h with a RAF flag instead of a Manx one.
Has anyone got a new file with the new additions on ?
Thanks
Mike.

Hi Mike,

Go to http://www.rbearden.toucansurf.com/RadarBox/Downloads.htm and download the flags zip and unzip to data/flags

Got an idea that the flag is tied into the hex code, had the same thing myself, so down loading the flags might not help.

When the Manx register was created they took over the 43C*** hex range that had previously been allocated to the UK Military.  The same thing for the Bermudan register which has been largely extended into hex areas previously unallocated by the UK CAA.  On the default file from Airnav these will appear with the UK flag.

The new D008.dat and flags file on Rod's site accounts for these changes and gives them the correct flags.

Hi,

Sorry me again but does the dat008 file go to the data file as apposed to the flags file ??

Just noticed the old one is in a different place with d006.dat and l019.dat etc...

The D008 file should replace the existing one in the data folder
