San Diego, CA - October 10, 2012 - AirNav Systems ( www.airnavsystems.com ) the world's
most trusted and accepted provider of real-time global flight tracking solutions and the owner
of the only existing global ADS-B flight tracking network is announcing a collaboration with Japan Airlines (JAL) where the Japanese carrier uses a network of AirNav RadarBox ® ADS-B receivers to show real-time aircraft movements on the Tokyo area on the top of Japan’s tallest architectural structure – the TOKYO SKYTREE ®.

Japan Airlines (JAL) has been named an Official Airline for TOKYO SKYTREE® - the newest, tallest architectural structure in Japan that was open to public on May 2012.

The TOKYO SKYTREE ® is a broadcasting, restaurant, and observation tower in Sumida, Tokyo, Japan. It became the tallest structure in Japan in 2010 and reached its full height of 2,080 feet in March 2011, making it the tallest free-standing broadcasting tower in the world, displacing the Canton Tower and also the second tallest structure in the world after Burj Khalifa (2,723 feet).
AirNav RadarBox is the world's best-selling and most advanced Real Time ADS-B receiver. It was designed by professional pilots and is the first and only ADS-B receiver with a presence in space.  By decoding ADS-B (Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast) radar signals, users are able to see what real Air Traffic Controllers see on their computer screens in Real-Time. Flight number, aircraft type, altitude, heading, speed are all updated each second.
