I don't think the Acars routes file has been updated for years. I seem to remember it was in simple text form and available from Terry Wade or other enthusiasts. Whatever, the last route file I can trace was for Wacars on 23/12/09  from http://www.wacars.nl

Last time I looked at Airnav Acars all the links were down - totally useless.

Have a Google round, there maybe some diehard enthusiasts knocking about.  If you find anything let us know.

Hi Bratters,

Sorry, I think you do not understand my problem. I have an actual WDF database and will run it in ACARS. Should be possible following from the "Help" of the version I downloaded:

Main Features:

ยท Possibility of using Wacars routes.wdf and aircraft.wdf files

Hope this make some clear.

Kind Regards, Hans

Hi All,

Last week I tryed, together with Support,  to find a solution for my problem. Until sofar we did not find one.

So I like to asking again for some help from other AirNav ACARS decoder users.

Are there any users of the 2.1 version and using wdf files?

If so, please let me know what to do to make that the decoder uses the wdf files.

Thanks again in advance for any help!

Kind Regards, John

If the wdf files are placed in the data directory they should be picked up and used. You do have to be carefull in terms of you installed ACARS on Windows 7 not to install in program files as it you end in the virtual store and the wdf files are not read by the software.

Hi Support and All,

for your information:

I installed ANAD in the same map as where AirNav Radarbox is installed in. Not in Programfiles but in a selfmade map "Airnav".

Hope this helps.

Kind regards, John
