Hello Graham

We have had this here too. We weren't sure if it was Our email provider or the Airnav server to fault. It is good to know it isn't just us.

Hi,
 Is there any priority to fixing this problem, because the delay is affecting my tracking here in south america, can't work with alerts that show up after three days, even the email report does not show up until two days later if at all. Any follow up about this would be great.

This alert and email delay problem may be caused by anti-spam system.

Hello,
strange things are happening here,since a few days and i have nothing changed
i get the message after trying to send the logfile by mail,mail send with success and then
message send failed,check your background software (firewall)
this has nothing to do with the firewall,the same message occurs with deactivating the firewall
anybody ??
greetings

We are today upgrading our email server and outsourcing it to a different company.
This requires a few changes which may take up to 48 hours to propagate over the internet.
So this means that we will still experience some instability during the next 2/3 days and after that problem fully corrected.

As Dev mentioned the mail server has been moved so it takes time to propagate the change across the world. Though we expect things to settle down soon, also due the mail server move if you have spam settings check none are diverting to a spam folder as it would have picked up a different ip address and mail server.

Same problem here. Haven't had an email report since the 3rd March and only sporadic alerts. Radarbox initially notifies email success, then several moments later "Message sending failed. Please check background software (antivirus/firewall) and try again later"
Nothing has changed in my settings but I rechecked and reentered mail details etc. No Joy.
I am pleased, if that's the right way to look at it, that others are having this problem too. I was at a loss.

This is still being worked on, we are hoping for a resolution asp.

As you know we moved mail servers which had further capacity combat the issues we were seeing beforehand but it seems these can't handle the load either. We are looking at ways to handle the load better.

Email alerts are being sent from the proper (sender's email) email address so reports to forums should also0 be working Ok.

Confirming: Auto-Report not working -again.

Further: Manual sending is quitted with the (stupid) check firewall notification, although data isn't blocked and is starting to be transmitted. No restart, Firewall/Anti-Virus program updates within the past 24h. So I presume 99,9% of times were the "check" statement comes, the dead end is your side. Please remove that useless/false notification by a "Sorry we are encountering some technical issues on our side. Please try again much (very much) later. We apologize for any problems aso."

Perhaps it might be a good idea to go back to the ancient time were the report and alert mails aren't processed through your server. Or at least giving the possibility to chose how the alert/report mails are send. Just a thought for next version. I'm getting tired with the continuing working, not working, working, not working, not working, not working, oh working again and statement: "This situation should now be 100% solved." And guess what: not working, just one day later. Sorry, to say it just right away and very clear: This is not a very reliable and trust-able behaviour and can't be very good for your reputation.

At this time we have a brand new email server application running on our server, fully tested and fully working.
So and finally we believe this problem should be 100% corrected.
As usually we wait for your feedback that all is absolutely working Ok.
Again thanks for your patience during the long wait to have this feature back on.

Alerts started to work at 5:11 CEST, well at least this was the time today's first Alert was generated.
Auto Log hasn't worked.
Manual sending worked.

Hopefully it is working fully now ;-).

Auto Log didn't work (UTC+2)
Manual sending worked to my Gmail address, but not to Yahoo!Groups.
Although when changing to my old Hotmail address, sending to Yahoo!Groups worked.

So there is something when using a Gmail-address and Yahoo!Groups that don't work. :-(

We have been working on our server email setup today and there is no reason for email messages not to be sent.
To keep all this organized we would ask every user with email sending problems to contact us directly as it could be related to local user settings.

We need to have:
- Your RadarBox software version;
- Your RadarBox login / user id;
- The contents of the "Recipients" field on your MyLog window;
- If alerts never work or if they work only sometimes (inconsistency in sending data);

Please contact us by email at [email protected] or by sending a PM to me.

Hi Donnie

I have to say that I'm currently testing email alerts (I normally don't use them) and they are arriving in my inbox instantly at the moment. As soon as an alert appears in RadarBox, I go to Outlook, and there's the email.

If Yahoo are indeed having problems (wouldn't be the first time) it's a bit tough to blame AirNav.

BTW - thanks for the returns from Atlanta - (assuming they are from you) - always good to see.

We have re-checked one more time and the email server has no problems. We've installed a new software for this a week ago and since then no problems in sending emails / no SMTP outages. We also confirmed that airnavsystems.com IP is not listed in any spam detection engine. So as far as we can tell everything is working absolutely OK on our side.
