Just watched an Airbus A388 with binoculars literally do a U turn just north of my location in France. Upon checking with RadarBox it has a registration of F-WWOW, callsign SQ3801, and level at FL300. I am guessing that it is a pre-delivery Singapore airframe returning to Toulouse. Anyone confirm? (It didn't half pick up speed after the turn - 520 Kts, there must be a considerable tail wind).
* Further to this, it appears to have taken up a racetrack pattern just north of the Pyrenees, alternately climbing and descending. Fascinating to watch. Have taken a few screenshots. I'll try to upload, but only have dial-up uplink (satellite downlink).

OK, there are 19 screenshots - it'll take a while to upload, and I'll post them in the Screenshot forum - probably tomorrow. I hope this many doesn't overwhelm everyone!
