Title: Network Status
Post by: AirNav Support on August 05, 2011, 09:27:24 AM
We are investigating a fault with a network connection to our servers which is causing some customers to experience time outs and services going off-line.

We will post when we have more news.

Is it just me, or has any one else noticed, that the Website/Forum is quite slow and has availability outages at the moment.

I've found the network very intermittent this last week or so, with it dropping out frequently, albeit for fairly short periods of time - very glitchy.

All, please ignore my 1942 report, that was nothing to do with AN, I'd moved my lap-top a few inches, enough to separate the USB extension lead.

But down again 2009 - 2014z.

We continue to monitor the status of our database server and working on new ways to automtically deal with outages so the recover process is done by automated applications in case of failure. We will continue to keep you posted.

The network seems much more stable now (for the last 24 hours and since we did the last changes). We will keep our monitoring ready in case anything needs to be improved.

The network server is much more stable at this time without any failures for the last 3 days but we continue to improve the monitoring routines. We will keep you informed.

We don't expect them to happen - if they do not for more than 5 minutes and not more than 1 or 2 during the next days.
