We are investigating a fault with a network connection to our servers which is causing some customers to experience time outs and services going off-line.
We will post when we have more news.
-
Is it just me, or has any one else noticed, that the Website/Forum is quite slow and has availability outages at the moment.
-
Thats correct neroon79. Its related to the network connection.

Well, lets hope, that you are able to catch the gremlin quite soon ;-)

Have you asked Rod for a silhoutte of a Gremlin? hehehe ;-)
-
Tried it, but the pesky thing just keeps jumping off the screen :-(

Any update on this support, its driving me to distraction.

Its still being investigated I am afraid, will post with more news soon.
-
Only partial network - 90 aircraft showing
-
I am back :)
-
We are investigating the network service as well at the moment.
-
Network back.
-
Looking good, thanks
Alan
-
The previous network problems from yesterday appear to be persisting, still having the same problems today.
Alan
-
Still down - nothing on the status page
-
We are aware of the issue at the moment.
-
I've found the network very intermittent this last week or so, with it dropping out frequently, albeit for fairly short periods of time - very glitchy.
-
Should be back now.
-
Gone again.
-
Back at 2226Z
-
Still the same up and down for short periods.
Alan
-
Its not the server as such but the connection. This is still being investigated unfortunately.
-
Down again 1030z
-
Back at 1042z and gone again 1044z for a few seconds, but up at the moment.
-
It's in and out like a fiddler's elbow !
-
Gone again 1325z
-
Back at 1331z
-
We've identified what could be the reason for these problems and a new version of the server software is bein uploaded right now. We will keep the server watch during the next hours.
-
We are workin on the server at this time. We may need to brin it down for a few minutes.
-
All should be back to normal at this time. Tks for your patience.
-
Don't know when, but it's down again now 1942z
-
All, please ignore my 1942 report, that was nothing to do with AN, I'd moved my lap-top a few inches, enough to separate the USB extension lead.
But down again 2009 - 2014z.
-
Down again though 2018z
-
Back 2050z ish
-
Gone 2101z
-
The server is still unstable, its going to be worked on tonight during the quiet period. We apologise the inconvenience caused and will post as soon as we have more information.
-
Back 2125z
-
Gone again 2128z - AN does having accurate times of outs help pin down the problem?
-
We don't need the times, we are working on it at the moment and well aware of whats happening.
-
Thanks! I'll leave you in peace to sort it - hopefully, properly and permanently !!!
-
We are constantly monitoring how the server is performing and will do the necessary actions if it goes down again.
-
We continue to monitor the status of our database server and working on new ways to automtically deal with outages so the recover process is done by automated applications in case of failure. We will continue to keep you posted.
-
It is still up and down every couple of minutes
Alan
-
The network seems much more stable now (for the last 24 hours and since we did the last changes). We will keep our monitoring ready in case anything needs to be improved.
-
The network server is much more stable at this time without any failures for the last 3 days but we continue to improve the monitoring routines. We will keep you informed.
-
Down at 1820z, I assume this is due to on-going maintenance.
-
Network is down again.
-
Back at 1835z
-
On-going maintenance. All should be Ok now.
-
For how long, can we expect continuing further drop-outs, and if so, for how long please?
-
We don't expect them to happen - if they do not for more than 5 minutes and not more than 1 or 2 during the next days.
-
Many thanks for that AN Dev, speaking for myself, as long as I know they're likely to occur that's fine - thanks for keeping us informed.
-
Gone again................and back
-
Negative, it could be some conenction problems on your end. We are still working on the server but with no outages.
-
During the next 30 minutes we will update some RadarBox server related software. A 5-10 minutes outage may occur.
-
We will be working on the server for the next 4 hours which means it can be down during this time.
-
Worked has finished for today. As usually we will continue monitoring the server output and develop new features to make it more robust and reliable.
-
We will bring the network down for 5 minutes for maintenance.
-
All should be Ok now.
