Title: Why does this always happen?
Post by: Aerotower on July 14, 2011, 04:57:50 PM
This happens whenever I pass full-screen, to the screen with the menus.

The software stops responding and gray for a few seconds ... which is quite annoying.

Whether he is in balanced or high performance (notebook)

It happens to anyone else?

Sorry, Aerotower, it's never happened to me. I can only think that your computer may not be powerful enough. Could that be a possibility?

Unless you're running lots of other programs as well as RadarBox.

Neither Rod, just SBSUploader that sends the FTP's radarbox to my page.

Perhaps Support has some suggestions.

Think you will find its a computer problem not software, no problems running on my laptops.

Might be something to do with the limitations of the graphic card

I don't know what SBSUploader is, but maybe try running without it and see if the problem goes away.

Hi

I have a consistent problem with not being able to change some data in my DB of aircraft operating in my area.

eg 700068 YA-TTC A320 Safi Airways keeps reverting to wrong reg YA-TIC, I have tried unsuccessfully hundreds of times for one year to change it to YA-TTC BUT it just keeps reverting back to YA-TIC! Air NAV Support referred me to this forum for help.

Any ideas?

I've just tried to radabox on and continues to do the same.
By putting the graphics card instead of maximum performance quality.

you have some image of the plane in your photos folder?
If yes, is only altered in the database and this done, if not then it goes back to the old way ...
It is a radarbox "problem".

Hi X,

The database entry was incorrect thats why it reverted when you corrected it. I have corrected the info it in the d/b so you should be able to update it now.

BTW there is a database update thread http://www.airnavsystems.com/forum/index.php?topic=6224.0 where you can post any unidentified aircraft you pick up and we will add it to the database if we can find the info.  If you have the hex only that will do but if you have other info, even better.
You can also post mistakes in the d/b like you have just done and we will amend the data held.

Thanks

Alan

Hi,

I made a short video to see what happens with my radar.
Also using the Windows Task Manager.

http://www.aerotower.x10hosting.com/aerotower/Airnav and download the .rar.

Hi Aerotower,

It might be an idea to email support directly in an attempt to get an answer mailto: [email protected]

Yes, this issue exists, but probably it's a Radeon story. I have exactly the same picture when I pass between the full-screen and the screen with menus on my main monitoring PC which is i5/4Gb/Radeon 5850/Win XP Pro 32-bit.

I have tried to replicate this issue on my other PC - i3(integrated graphics)/4Gb/W7 Ultimate 32-bit but still no signs of "grey screen story".

Regards,
Nick
