I sort my flights by distance. I always have a batch of flights at the top with a flight status of NA. Why do these not timeout and disappear?
I understand that this has been discussed before but a search that includes NA and flight status does not really work :)
-
Are these network flights or local hardware flights?
-
Network flights. The local flights time out and disappear as expected.

Okay. Discussed during beta testing at http://www.airnavsystems.com/forum/index.php?topic=3058.0
Previous replies for those without access to the beta forum:
NA means not available, flights which status is unknown. You will see lots of these flights on ground.
We will explain what happens: with the new network flight routines to avoid flights being concentrated at runway ends time-outed we had to introduce several time-out routines. These cause that some NW flights change to a different status. There is nothing we can do about the... unless change the flight status routine so it returns a different Status, not NA but...?
Maybe rename NA to TimedOut? And ensure that these time-out aircraft still display their last known altitude in the aircraft list.
Corrected. NA flights will not be shown on the Network grid.

Thanks tarbat
I don't have access to those topics but I assume it is normal to have the NA's

It's normal to have NA's. Maybe Airnav can explain what NA really means, they're a real nuisance when you sort by Distance as well.
