Hi guys,
First report from a sunny and hot Spain. To say things take a while to organise here is a bit of an understatement. It's easier to get a parking ticket than to get the internet. After 6 months of waiting and much form filling I am finally back online.
Only using the indoor twig at the moment so coverage is somewhat limited but at the end of the week I am getting installed an outdoor aerial on the roof therefore looking forward to a vast increase in coverage. At the moment I can just about reach Valencia to the north, North Africa to the south, east to Ibiza but very poor to the west due to the house blocking the signal.
In many respects, it is similar to Glasgow (apart from the weather) as there are lots of Ryanair and Easyjets but also Air Berlins are very prominent. Some really good bizjets as well. Several of the air corridors are close to the house with one going right overhead. I hope to be online providing coverage of the area most days and watch out for a vast improvement hopefully from this weekend when the new twig goes up. I now have to catch up on 6 months forum news and updates so in for a busy time but it's great to be back.

Hi Ian
Look forward to seeing your returns on the RB. Whereabouts exactly are you in Spain?
-
Southwest,
I am in a small village called El Reloj situated inland about 30 miles from both Alicante and San Javier.

Know the area well, we holiday just outside Torrevieja.
Like I said, will really be looking out for your network.
Enjoy the sun.

Southwest,
Next time you are coming over let me know. I'm only 30 minutes from Torrevieja. We could meet up.
Cheers,
Ian
