How can I get my home-centred map with North not pointing straght up the screen?
-
Hi Cosmicwind - You can't! How many maps do you see that aren't oriented with north at the top?

Hi Dave, so one at least (nice one!) then, and we used to think the earth was the centre of the Universe?

Hi Dave, your map interested me, so I tried Googling "Upside Down Maps"

They certainly give a slightly different global view, now where can I get an upside down globe.............

Aaah, that explains it. My garden faces east and the airway goes north-south so, being a lazy git, I thought it would be nice to have the aw on the long axis of the screen. Ho hum, just a thought for ANRB11.

My garden faces east but I just rearrange the placement of the PC in the room so that the PC and therefore the on screen map are facing north/south.
Simples!
