Title: 3D question
Post by: virtualradar on April 17, 2010, 01:19:26 PM
I just got and installed Radarbox 3D upgrade. To be honest i'm disappointed as its not what it shows on the web site. I cannot see any planes when in 3D at all, just google map. I'm looking at the network data as the uk has come to a stand still due to ash fron Iceland. when i change to the normal map i see the airplanes again WHY NOT IN 3D. The reason i got this package was to see aeroplanes on Google Earth. Have I to do something first, in the update cd that came it says on the 1-6 quick instalation guide certainly number 6 does not live up to its name "its done! Enjoy your experience in the aviation world. Please someone help this is so fustrating.
Cheers

Just to confirm, you are watching RB Network aircraft in a part of the world where there is traffic.  You can see the aircraft in the 2D map window, but not in the 3D map window?

Are you sure that you are looking at the right part of the world in the 3D window?  You shouldn't be seeing Google MAP but Google EARTH - maybe this is what you mean?

Can you see anything in the 3D window?  What settings do you have in the 3D Preferences setup window?

This thread shows example of what you should be seeing:
