Thank You

ShipTrax release will be coordinated with the brand new shipspotting.com relese (shipspotting.com was acquired by AirNav Systems and is the world's biggest shipping photos hub - same as airliners.net for aviation).
You can check the new site at beta.shipspotting.com
The ShipTrax hardware/software are almost finished now and we are waiting for the above to be ready to release everything at the same time.

When please?

hi VK2GEL
Do you honestly expect airnav to give you a date, their profession people a lot of time and effort went into ShipTrax, and its not finished yet.

The receiver is a year late, so yes I expect a date, please.

If we had a date we would give it to you but unfortunately there are several factors that do not depend on us so we can't assume this risk. Anyway let us assure you that when the system is released the quality will be similar to RadarBox and the user base will grow as with RadarBox resulting that in a few months we will be market leaders in this area. One important factor here is that ShipTrax is directly connected/coordinated with shipspotting.com, the world's biggest ship photo engine (with almost 1 million photos) which AirNav Systems acquired last year.

NOW would be a great time to launch ShipTrax. With virtually no aircraft to watch anymore, at least we could all watch ships instead ;)
