Title: ZIP FILE

Can anybody help,I downloaded the flags zip file but cannot extract its contents,the image of the normal zip folder has now gone and the explorer logo has now replaced the normal zip folder image and it will not unzip,I am now getting this on all downloaded zip files,something has been changed but I cannot find it.

It sounds to me that when opening up your file you have directed Internet Explorer to open this type of file.

Firstly download a zip extractor, I use Zip Genius(free), and install it.

Then right click on your downloaded zip file select properties. On the General tab click change, and then you should be able to select and highlight Zip genius in the list, Then click OK which will then change the icon on your file for you to extract.

Hope this sorts your problem
