Went away on business for a week and on my return found my RDB not receiving anymore. Have restarted system, have check the Usb is not powered down, have change my aerial and usb cable.... IS there anything I've missed, before I have to send it away
Not happy

Are you still getting Network traffic?
What do the connection indicators at the bottom of the lists show?
-
Not signed up for network traffic so can't say. The connections indicator for the box is yellow and says checking. On boot up the USB blue light appears. Ones the sw is started I get not led's showing at all

Almost certainly a driver problem?
Have you plugged your RB into a different USB port?
Are you using a USB hub, or are you connected straight into the PC?
When you use Help>About from the RB menu, does it tell you the Firmware version?
If you look at the Hardware Devices, can you see RadarBox listed? See the video on the AirNav YouTube channel - via the button at the top right of this Forum page (Are the Drivers correctly installed).
When you say that you are not signed up for Network traffic, do you mean that your free 12 months has expired, or that you haven't clicked the Process Network Data box at the bottom of the Network aircraft list?

In answer to your questions
Yes have tried in another port, with a different usb cable
Not using a hub
Firmware version is showing nothing at all!!!!
The Radarbox is listed in the USB section of Device Manager
And yes my 12 months free has expired. I never used the service so have not subscribed.
Will watch the video

Copy your database files and reinstall the software again. The checking indicates something is going wrong in the intial connection phase to the RadarBox, in most cases (99.9%) the software/drivers has been corrupted and not the box.

OK thanks.
Have confirmed this as I have dug out my laptop and plugged in that and it works!!! So it seems a corrupt USB file.
Quick question. O my laptop the Registration and short Aircraft type are blank fields. How do I get those populated?

looking to save my data files on the corrupted install and notice Mylog.db3 is only 1K, so its lost all the data. What could have happened to mylog. Would a crash wipe this db?

Yes a crash of a hard drive fault could have corupted that file. You might still have your backup db3 in the same folder.
-
THe bak file was 0KB. Probably over written when I launched the software with the problem. Fortunately I have a beta dir with data upto mid december.
Any idea on the strange instance on my laptop with no reg or aircraft data?

Thanks for help now up and running again. Since the reinstall I have noticed my flights count is back up into 80/90s whereas before it was half that!!! Coincidence, maybe or a symptom that my driver was working correctly...
One to ponder I guess
Cheers
