Only if you paid specifically for it. Standard network out of the box is delayed.

Hi Tom,

Yes, I paid a fee for it last week and am receiving it, just wasn't sure if the feed was delayed or in realtime.

Has your nickname anything to do with a certain AAC unit? I'm ex-REME/AAC.

Aidan,

Great website and pics.

Well, we do have a little in common. I was born in Dublin. Left to seek my fortune when I was seventeen (reverse the figures now). My Dad was born in Athboy, a fiercely proud Meathman. Our ancestral lands are at Drakerath nr Kells.

A nice piece of family history there Tom. For my radarbox I'm using an external home base antenna up approx 40 feet being fed with low loss heavy duty 50ohm cable. I'm located only a few nautical miles N.W of Dublin Airport so am able give out a decent Radarbox feed.

That's a good location. Aidan. You must have a really good range with that setup.

I'm in  a valley here, with hills on three sides and houses on two. I have a whip at just 15 ft but I still manage to get lots of aircraft. My main interest is US mil ac so I'vejust installed an SBS-1er so that I could become a PlanePlotter Ground Station. I shall be selling the ANRB soon.

Sounds interesting Tom. I have a friend who is currently looking for a pre-owned Radarbox kit. if you let me know how much you will be selling it for, I can let him know and perhaps pit him in contact with you... just a thought.
My direct email address is [email protected] or [email protected].
