Title: Baltimore-Washington Airport - USA
Post by: albln on January 21, 2008, 12:55:56 AM
This weekend I had to attend a meeting that was held at one of the hotels in the Baltimore-Washington Airport (KBWI), so I took my Airnav system with me. I was dissapointed with the very poor results that I obtained in number of flights logged. Although I was in a 4th floor and had the antenna as close to the windown as possible, I suspect that the metal frame of the hotel may have caused reception problems. Also, I am not sure what direction my room was facing, and didn't have much time to play around.

However, I managed to capture the final approach of a couple of flights into KBWI. I am attaching the screen shots for one of them.

The loggings I posted were from a hotel while I was on a business trip, so that would not work.

As for a big outdoor antenna at my fixed location... working on that  :)
