Possibly an issue with your ftp server. Others have had problems with ftp server software that doesn't cope with the upload/rename sequence. Who is your ftp provider? If possibly, take a look at the ftp server log to see what might be going wrong.
Otherwise, it might be worth using gofreeserve.com, which works for a few of us.

-
test with 4 Provider and dont work :'( its a bug of ANRB ??
-
It must be something about how you've got it setup. Here's how mine is setup in Radarbox:
And this is what it looks like on my webpage:
http://www.tarbat.gofreeserve.com/radarbox.htm
I upload to htdocs/shot, and the directory then contains:
http://www.tarbat.gofreeserve.com/shot/
-
yes ! i have the same settings ! and dont work too...
-
The ftp feature does not depend on our server. It relies solely on the software and on the ftp server the user specifies. We believe there is something wrong with the ftp server you are trying to access and/or the access settings.
-
Try a manual upload to the ftp server to see if that works okay. You can test in Windows Explorer.
-
manuel upload work yes
the upload via ANRB dont work :(
5 ftp work !! with the ftp of www.radarvirtuel.com
work for all client and not me
-
Sorry, I'm out of ideas. It works for me.
-
Firewall issue?
-
its a bug with the Passiv mode for ftp transfert :'( and the ANRB dont have the passive mode for ftp transfert :'(
-
Not sure I understand. Are you saying your ftp server can only cope with active mode? As I say, it works perfectly well for me, uploading to ftp.gofreeserve.com/htdocs/shot on port 21.
Maybe use Wireshark to see what error messages are being returned by the ftp server.
-
Ok i have the error :
501 port address does not match originator.
-
501 port address does not match originator.
Is that when doing an ftp to the gofreeserve.com ftp server?
-
Janathan.G
There must be something wrong with your settings - as tarbat has said, there are a few of us on here who uses gofreeserve and all of ours is working fine.
Try to use gofreeserve again, as I said all of ours are working fine.
Cheers
Andy

Google says the 501 FTP Error means that "server returned an invalid response to PASV command, [try to] select the USER@SITE FTP method instead of PASV method".
-
One thought. What version of Radarbox are you running? I remember there being some ftp problems with earlier versions.
-
i have the last version 3.11
same problem with 3.07
-
i have found on google the "501 port adress does not match originator" error
because the program dont upload the .GIF in passif mode !! its a bug...
i can upload on the ftp with FILEZILA, and i cant with ANRB ...
-
501 port address does not match originator.
Is that when doing an ftp to the gofreeserve.com ftp server?
Answering this question may help understand your problem.
-
so....its a transfert bug via ANRB....i have a new ftp and dont work too
i have check the transfert with WIRESHARK and wireshark say :
Request : PORT 127, 0,0,1,6,217
Reponse : 500 Illegal PORT command ANRB.EXE
Its just bug of ANRB with the passiv mode
Just add a passive mode for transfert in ANRB and the transfer will work...
(Sorry for my english.....)
-
Just try and use gofreeserve again.
As I said before, several of us use it, so cannot be a bug in ANRB
-
TRY TRY TRY ... -_-
same error..... just add a passive mod in ANRB !!! its a BETA version ! its time to add this !!
PASSIVE MODE TRANSFERT AS FILEZILA
:'( .....
-
Well, I'm lost now. We've suggested using gofreeserve.com as a test, and I really don't know if you've tried this or not. Can you not just answer the question - do you get this 501 error when uploading to gofreeserve.com?
Others have no problems with ftp in Radarbox, but I'm starting to think you maybe don't want our help getting this working.
-
Yes i have the 501 Error with gofreeserve.com same problem with free.fr, iceheberg.fr, voila.fr, ifrance.fr All FTP have the 501 ERROR with ANRB transfert
With FILEZILA all FTP WORK and with ANRB the transfert FAIL ( error 501 )
-
Did your settings in gofreeserve look like the one's below.
-
Yes ! all are good...
with all FTP PROVIDER....Same error
Just a ANRB transfert bug =)
Just Add a passive mode on ANRB =)
-
Could be a firewall problem - maybe a NAT setup problem?
It's not a Radabox problem, since it works okay for others. I'm not going to waste any more time on this.

We are all trying to help you, but you don't want to listern.
There is not a BUG in RB, we are all using the ftp upload without any problems.
I am very sorry, but I can not help

Hi People,
I can say that FTP in version 3.1 worked fine here.
I tested for more than one hour today morning without any problem.
Cheers
-
Jonathan.G,
Sorry Sir but so far we haven't been able to replicate the issue you are having, neither has someone come forward with the same issue as your self.
It does seem like a ISP, Router or Firewall issue your side at the moment.
-
FTP working fine for 5 hours with v3.11 for me.
Tom

Problem resolved !!!!! :D

Actually I got it to work for several hours and then it just stops uploading...any
ideas why that might be anyone?
-
Hi Protzenalp,
have this same problem when ftp-ing to my webspace at my ISP, 1-2 hours it renames the image, but then stops renaming, getting the tmp files.
Has all to do with renaming image on FTP server, nothing with RB.
-
Any idea how to fix the problem?
-
Probably caused by upload limits imposed by your ftp provider. gofreeserve.com have no such upload limits AFAIK.
-
Chris is right with his statement, I also use gofreeserve, like many others on here. I have no problem what so ever.

Had ftp problem with local ftp server and my ISP's, both have no upl. limit, must be something else.
Sent now screenshots from PlanePlotter to my website (on local webserver)

No, that can't be the problem. I have a hosting contract which allows for much more than I am using.... ah well, more trial and error I guess

My upload using the Radarbox software kept stopping after a certain time (the period was always different). So I started looking for an alternative and found software called Icy Screen which takes a screenshot and uploads automatically. The software works fine, but I did find something out:
Every so often the upload will indeed fail. Why I don't know. However, with Icy Screen one has the possibility to tock a box which gets the software to try again if it gets an error message and now it works perfectly. I have the impression that the Radarbox ftp switches off if it gets one error message. Is this so? If yes, it might be worth getting it to "try again" of there is a connection error.
