Title: RadarBox in Fortaleza Brazil
Post by: duartecardoso9 on December 24, 2007, 10:36:50 PM
Having installed RadarBox 1 week ago I have to say how much I'm impressed with its performance. Easy to install, fast and realiable. I'm waiting to receive the best antenna, cable and pre-amp from Martin Lynch.

I've bought a dedicated 7 meter mast so in 2 or 3 weeks expect to have a real radar station monitoring all flights from Europe to South America (the overfly my location, Mossoro or Natal VOR) so all in the range of my RadarBox. I will have it running 24/7 and sharing to the network.

My first screen shot already on the Screen Shot forum.
Any more users in Brazil?

Welcome,

We look foward to see you on the network. Its amazing how busy Brazil already is and how high the ADS-B aircraft rate is there :)

I think we do have a couple of customers in Sao Paulo.

Support and Duarte,

How are you? There are two users in São Paulo, Juan Gelb and me.

I have just installed Wimo's  antenna and amplifier, and reached 209 nm from my  station. The only problem that I have is a group of buildings in front of me that represent a wall... to solve this problem Juan receives the sector that I don't.

Merry christmas for all,
