Title: Taking RB to the State
Post by: rnsavage on October 15, 2009, 03:18:17 PM
Anybody had any problems taking the RB to the States?

Hand luggage or in the hold?

Any problems with security after getting bag scanned on arrival in the US (have not had any issues in Europe with it)

Usually when taken anything electronic to the US, they always want to see it working!

Hi, I took my RB to the USA in June as hand luggage both ways. Went through all the search scanners with no problem. Didnt even get asked about it even though it was in my Laptop bag. it was the same travelling around Europe, no queries whatsoever.

Currently on vacation in Hawaii. Took the laptop in hand luggage but packed the ARNB in a suitcase in the hold. Took the view that the guy at the baggage scanner couldn't ask me what it was if it wasn't in my hand luggage.
