Title: A330 flying backwards
Post by: 73TORANA! on September 08, 2009, 03:16:28 AM
Hi everyone ,
Just had a Qantas A330 flying backwards ,the plane icon on my screen and the data had it heading 090 deg  but it was heading westerly , maybe a heading input fault In the aircraft or maybe It was caught up in an Alien tractor beam ? oops its now disappeared.

This typically happens when position information is being received while heading is not (old heading received).

I have seen several Kuwait Airways flying sideways recently. Must admit does look odd.
